I was filing in Sutter County yesterday and the clerk warned me that beginning July 1st, 2017 they will no longer accept over the counter filings from Attorneys or runners. I found it interesting however that they will allow "In Pro Se" patrons to approach the window as usual. After some additional research and deliberation, I'm happy to announce that 530 Process Servers is rolling out our new E-Filing (EFSP) Service that will begin early September. Until then, You can go to the Tyler Website at: http://www.odysseyefileca.com/faqs.htm for the latest frequently asked questions.
The days of filing paper documents at courthouses in California are coming to an end. That’s because electronic court filing, the uploading, and submission of documents to a court in electronic form, is rapidly becoming the new standard. Electronic filing is currently available in 18 superior courts in California. If your court is listed here on the left, there is a good chance that you will be REQUIRED to E-File in the coming future to stay in business. Some courts such as Sutter County have mandated it as E-File only. For a specific list visit, http://www.odysseyefileca.com/active-courts
